When we are expecting to have another new member of the family soon, everyone gets so overwhelmed and excited. Even though we are not the parents, most of the time, we would like to take part on the big day. Sometimes we would suggest for the baby name, some would shop for gifts such as take me home outfits in as early as the second trimester of the pregnancy and the most common is organize a baby shower for the mom and the baby.

Organizing a baby shower is no easy thing to do. Gifts will surely flood on the party and thus, it is important to make sure that having duplicate gifts is minimized. Of course, what would the mom and dad do with two car seats and two cribs if they are just expecting one baby? Also, receiving clothes of exactly the same style and color is definitely a no-no.

With this, if you are the one who is in charge of organizing the baby shower, make sure you have and monitor a gift registry. In this way, the baby will not receive the same Paty, Inc. romper or hat. Also, it will help your other visitors to know what other things the baby may need in the future which are not yet listed on the registry.

By having a gift registry, the opening of gifts part on the baby shower will become more exciting for the mom and the baby will have several kinds of gifts to use and enjoy.
